Paul M. Plesnik, 80, of Manchester Twsp., NJ died on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his home. Paul was born in Newark, NJ and was a 1956 graduate of West Side High School. He started his career at NJ Bell in Newark, later Trenton, and retired from Bell Atlantic in Cranford in 1989.
He spent the next 10 years working for Catholic Community Services in Union County, NJ. Paul lived in Roselle, NJ before moving to Manchester Twsp. in 2000. He was a baseball coach for St. Joseph’s Little League in Roselle, NJ. Upon retirement, he was an active member of the Leisure Knoll bowling and softball leagues in Manchester Twsp., NJ. Paul was a parishioner of St. John RC Church in Lakehurst, NJ.
Paul is predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Plesnik, and his siblings, John Plesnik, Louis Plesnik and Judith O’Brien.
Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Josephine Plesnik, of Manchester Twsp., NJ; two children, Amy Plesnik of Chatham, NJ and Paul T. Plesnik of Denville, NJ; his grandson, Timothy Plesnik; two sisters, Elizabeth Trampler of Florida and Pauline Trnka of West Chester, PA, and many loving nieces and nephews.
