Paul L. Robinson, 84, of Jacksonville, IL died Dec. 6, 2020, at his home.
He was born July 28, 1936, in Jacksonville, the son of Harold and Nellie Bibe Robinson. He married Hazel D. Daniels on Apr. 12, 1958, in Jacksonville and she preceded him in death on Sept. 13, 2010.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Alberta Robinson of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Leslie Andre Robinson II of Springfield, Wesley (Kelly) Mitchell of Buckeye, AZ, John David Morgan of Quincy and Michael Vincent Morgan (Kathy Gallo) of Sarasota FL; four great grandchildren, Ana Mitchell, Bryce Mitchell, Ayden Mitchell, and Jalen Morgan; and a host of extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Maude Bibe, who raised him; his son, Leslie Andre Robinson Sr., one sister, Mary Sue Bradley, and a step-brother, Dick Walker.
Mr. Robinson worked for the Jacksonville City Cemeteries and also the Jacksonville Street Department. He was proud to be a member of the Sons of the AMVETS, and a founding member of the Kingsman Club. Paul was always helping people.
