Paul J. Arave, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 30, 2021 surrounded by family. He lived in Roy, Utah, was raised, and lived, most of his life in Hooper, Utah.
After graduating from Weber High School, he served in the U.S. Army.
He is a son to Lewis and Fay Knight Arave, has an older sister Joan and twin sister Pauline. He is survived by his children: Jerry (Pam) Arave; Mike (Katherine) Arave; Michele (Martin) Tremblay, and Cindy Mayberry; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association) as a rodeo clown known as “Harvey Arave”; Sons of Utah Pioneers; and the Trapper Association.
He made friends easily wherever he went and had many friends who he regularly associated with. We would especially like to thank Rheta Higley for her love and support for dad over the many years.
