Paul Gendron

July 13, 1928 – October 13, 2012

Gendron, Paul

Bay City, Michigan

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 13, 2012 at his residence at the age of 84 years. The son of the late Paul and Theresa (Burton) Gendron was born July 13, 1928 in Detroit, MI. He was a member of St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church. Mr. Gendron was a retired pile driver and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Paul was a happy man with a warm soft hearted spirit. His gentle quiet ways, wonderful hugs and sparkle in his eyes, always made you feel welcome and loved. One of his greatest joys in life was playing with his grandchildren and having his dog by his side. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Gendron served his country with the U.S. Army 3rd Armored Division during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife the former; Delores Neveau whom he married November 21, 1952. Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law; Paula and Steven Stewart of Oxford, MI, his grandchildren; Ian Paul Stewart and Quinn Joseph Stewart, one brother; Robert “Bob” Gendron, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to McLaren Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during his time of need.
