Dr. Paul E. Knox, age 84 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully in his home, Sunday, February 8, 2015. Born in Greenville, TX, the son of the late Roy P. and Estella Knox, he was raised in Dallas and began studying piano at the age of five and the organ at age nine. Paul was a member of The Apollo Boys Choir, forerunner of The Texas Boys Choir and toured with them through the South, Central States and the Northeast. He received a Bachelors of Music from North Texas State University, with a major in organ. Paul then served four years in the United States Air Force.
