Paul David ”Freebie” Free, 53, Anderson, died June 3, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness. He was born June 29, 1949 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area all of his life. He retired from Delco Remy Delphi E Division of General Motors in August 2002 after 34 years of service. He owned and operated David’s Hauling Service in Anderson. He was the District & Alternate Committeeman for 15 years and was a member of the UAW Local #662. He was a member of Sons of Amvets Post #266 and Pendleton Idlewold Golf Club where he was on the Board of Directors and Men’s Club President. He was an avid golfer and organized many golf tournaments. He was a NASCAR fan and loved fishing at Little Barbee Lake. He was a member of Everett’s Gym in Middletown. He is survived by his Wife whom he married September 1, 1972: Kathy McCormack Free. Two Sisters-in-law: Vicki & husband Don Watkins of Valpariso. Candy Butler of Muncie. Many Special Friends. He was preceded by his Father: Paul N. Free in 1967. Mother: Ida Lee Perrin Richwine in 1985. Son: Ryan David Free in 1997.
