Mr. Baumgarner was born in Clearfield, PA, a son of the late Arthur F. and Margaret (Griffith) Baumgarner. He was a graduate of Clearfield High School and Penn State University and had served with the U. S. Army.
In addition to his wife; he leaves three children, Julie Williams and her husband John of DuBois, PA, Eric Baumgarner of Upton, and Karen Foy and her husband Matthew of Milton; 4 grandchildren, Sean Catalano and his wife Kimberly, Shannon Gibson, and Christopher Williams of PA, and Andrea Barker and her husband Derek of NC; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Theodore Baumgarner.
