He was a shipper at Brown Beach Jacket Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1970. Mr. Sellig was also a professional musician for many years, playing the drums. He began with the Music Weavers in Block Island, R.I., in the 1920s. He then played the drums in Dick Marshall’s Band, Morty Gould’s Band and John Caruso’s Band.
