Paul A. Savage, 86, of Anderson, passed away on January 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born on August 6, 1931 in Allons, Tennessee, and resided most of his life in Anderson. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for PQ Corporation of Anderson, and retired in 1994 after 40 years of service.
He attended and pastored Eastside House of Prayer. Paul enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, sharing the gospel, but his true love was to spend time with his family. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Loleta (Hunter) Savage; children, Steve (Katie) Savage of Anderson, Darlene (David) Weed of Albequerque, NM, Teresa (Tom) Pruitt of Anderson, and Paula (Chris) Kellermeyer of Pendleton; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is his sister, Pauline Taylor of Anderson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ellene Savage; siblings, James Savage, Arlie “Fred” Savage, and Claudine Arms.
