Paul A. O’Hare, 91, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, in St. Joseph’s Senior Home Nursing Center, Woodbridge, NJ.
Mr. O’Hare was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to the United States in 1957. He lived in Kearny, NJ until moving to Lyndhurst, NJ in 2018 and later moved to Woodbridge in 2019.
He was a Pensions Analyst for Prudential for 30 years. He worked in Newark, NJ and later in Florham Park, NJ before his retirement in 1990.
Paul is survived by four children, Mary White and her husband, Charlie; Paul O’Hare and his wife, Marie; John O’Hare and his wife, Maureen and Michael O’Hare and his wife, Sandra. He was the brother of Anna O’Hare, Sheila McKay and Gerald O’Hare. He was the grandfather of Kevin and his wife Molly, Brian (fiancé Lan Nguyen), Michael and Maureen White; Sean, Robert, Patrick, Juliet, Charlotte, Nicholas, Ava, and Lucas O’Hare and the great-grandfather of Vivian and Charlie White.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sally P. (Connolly) O’Hare and siblings John Loughran, Patrick O’Hare, Mary Stewart, Brendan O’Hare, Joan O’Hare, Arthur O’Hare, Paschal O’Hare, and Kathleen Cronin.
In 1963 Sally gave birth to a stillborn child who she and Paul named Frances Margaret “Maggy” O’Hare.
