Pattie Jo Tanner of Haletown, Arkansas passed from this life, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in Haletown, Arkansas. Pattie was 58 years, 3 months and 25 days old. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas to William Davis Bentley and Virginia Louise (Alston) Bentley.

Pattie had a love of the outdoors. She enjoyed everything from fishing, and kayaking, to gardening, and horseback riding, but her heart was taking care of other people which made her one of the most caring and sympathetic nurses you could have. She received her nursing degree at JPS Nursing school in Ft. Worth, Texas. For over 30 years she cared for people in Texas and in Arkansas. She also loved to make quilts and give them to family and friends. She was a cancer survivor. Although time with family was hard to come by, she cherished those opportunities to make memories and she loved each and every one of them.

Pattie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Gary Paul Tanner of the home, two sons: Jason W. Truelove and wife Ginselle and their daughter Jessica Louise who was the light of her life of Wipanhu, Hawaii and Joe A. Truelove and wife Erica and their son Jonah Vincent who always made her smile and laugh of Waldron, Arkansas and one stepson, Rowdy Tanner and wife Lacy Jae and their three children of Tampa Bay, Florida. She will forever remain in the hearts of her 5 grandchildren who were so precious to her. Pattie is also survived by her mother, Virgina, one brother, William Davis Bentley and wife Betty, one nephew, Randy Bentley and wife Tiffany all of Texas and one brother in law, Bruce Tanner and wife Tonya of Waldron, Arkansas and family. Pattie will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her.

Pattie was preceded in death by her father, William D. Bentley and one younger brother, Ricky Bentley.

Pattie’s memorial celebration will at 10:00 a.m.
