Patsy S. May, 75, of Bloomington, passed away August 20, 2011 at the Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center. Born, May 14, 1936 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Bertha A. Crouch.
Patsy was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Assembly for over 50 years where she taught Sunday School. She was the manager of the Duplicating Department in the School of Education at Indiana University for 40 years. Patsy was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors and playing dominoes’ with her friends.
Survivors include three sons, Joe May (Julie), Gary May (Brenda) and Tim May (Lana) all of Bloomington, grandchildren, Michael May (Alysia), Jeremy May (Jessica), Heath May (Pam) and Deanna Bohnenkamp (Seth), great-grandchildren, Billy Sexton, Alexus May, Isabella May, Logan May, Logan Bohnenkamp, Landon Bohnenkamp and Lucas Bohnenkamp, two sisters, Gelissia Honeycutt of Bloomington and Kathryn Johnson of Indianapolis, one brother, Ron Crouch of Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Joe May Sr. and her mother.
