Patsy (Beppler) Harriman, 67, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Patsy was born June 26, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Philbert Beppler, Sr. and Renolda May (Rice) Beppler. She married Jack Johnson in 1969 and they later divorced.

On October 8, 1988, she married Dan Harriman and he survives her in Mt. Vernon.

In addition to her husband Dan, she is survived by one son: Wayne Johnson of Charleston, IL; three daughters of Mt. Vernon: Crystal (Reed) Johnson, Denise Johnson, and Melodie Johnson; one step-daughter: Kesha Merrick and husband Lewis of Fairfield; eleven grandchildren: Carl Hardig, Jr., Christopher Hardig, Carissa Johnson, Vanessa Skropa, Cierra Johnson, Brianna Turner and husband Scott, Tyler Johnson and wife Jade, Jessie Johnson and wife Krystin Richardson, Darius Johnson and wife Abby, and Damon Johnson; three step grandchildren: Dylan Smith and Destiny Doogan, Christian Smith, Emily Smith; seventeen great-grandchildren: Aiyana, Isaiah, Randa, Noah, Jonoah, Emmarie, Ja-Von, C.J., Asiah, Jayden, Titan, Aubrey, Kristan, Jax, Arianna, Ainsley, and Levi; two brothers: Frank Beppler and wife Carol and Jack Beppler and wife Janet; two sisters: Glenda Tate and Peggy (Beppler) Rivera; and several nieces nephews, and cousins.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents: Philbert Beppler, Sr. and Renolda Beppler; ex-husband Jack Johnson; one grandchild: Jerika Lynn Roman; three brothers: Bob Rice, Philbert Beppler, Jr.; and Luther “Sonny” Beppler; and two sisters: Dorothy Thompson and Carolyn Borowike.

Patsy will be remembered as a loving individual. Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising kids. She loved all of her family and cared deeply about them. She was such a loving caregiver that she even adopted two of her great-grandchildren: Aiyana and Isaiah. Her family will dearly miss her and mourn the loss of her caring personality.
