Patrick J. Scullans, 88, of Oglesby, passed away, Sunday, December 26, 2021. Patrick was born March 5, 1933 in Streator to Frank and Anna (Wargo) Scullans. He married Marcella “Marcee” Fialko on June 15, 1957 at St. Anthony’s Church in Streator. She passed away December 5, 2008.
He served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. Patrick received a Bachelors degree at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. He worked as a claims manager with Hartford Insurance for over 35 years. Patrick was a member of Holy Family Church, Oglesby, and the Oglesby American Legion, Post 0237. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
Patrick is survived by a son, Greg (Sharla) Scullans of Peru; a daughter, Karen Scullans of Oglesby; and three grandchildren, Erin Scullans of Wheaton, and Keith and Kelly Scullans both of Carol Stream. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marcee; and a son, Keith.
