Patrick Joseph Moran of West Haven passed from this life peacefully on August 7, 2011, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Husband of the late Betty J. Moran. Born in New Haven on June 26, 1924, son of the late Patrick Joseph and Mary McGarty Moran. Pat is survived by his sons, Tim Moran of New York City and Patrick Terrence Moran and his wife Kathryn of Guilford. He was the beloved grandfather of Courtney Moran Fratta and her husband Joe of Northford and great grandfather of Brandon Joseph and Anna Elizabeth. He was also predeceased by brother Thomas F. Moran and his dear friend Violet Chernovetz. Pat served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for many years as a supervisor at United Elastic Corp.
