Patrick J. Kennedy Sr., age 67 years, of Manomet, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was the husband of Deborah (Dupuis) Kennedy and the son of the late William Kennedy Sr. and Ethel (O’Brien) Kennedy. Born on October 27, 1954 in Jamaica Plain, he was a graduate of Don Bosco High School and Wentworth Institute in Boston where he studied architecture. Patrick served thirty years in the United States Army and later worked for the Town of Plymouth as a firefighter for over twenty years and at the Plymouth Housing Authority. He grew up enjoying his family’s summer home at Priscilla Beach where he met his loving wife Debbie of over thirty -four years. A devoted sports fan, Patrick was on his high school football team and the fire department softball team. He also loved to play horseshoesBesides his loving wife Deborah, Patrick is survived by his three sons, Patrick Kennedy Jr. and his wife Colleen (Taylor) Kennedy of Plymouth, Jeremy Kennedy and his fiancé Hillary Ivaldi of Wakefield, and Steven Kennedy of Plymouth, his brother William Kennedy Jr. of Walpole, his nephew Tom Kennedy and his wife Melissa of Weymouth, his nephew Brian Kennedy of Dorchester, his grand daughter Ellen Kennedy and cousin Arthur Manaselian of West Yarmouth.
