Patrick C Wenders, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Huntington Living Center. Patrick was born the son of the late Irving and Lody (Woroniecki) Wenders on Monday, January 4, 1943, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Patrick graduated from Honesdale High School and then attended Penn State University from 1961 to 1964, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Geo-Physics. After college, Patrick served his county in Vietnam with the United States Army from 1964 to 1967. Patrick worked for Xerox and retired after 33 years. He enjoyed woodworking, hiking, bike riding, and helping maintain Ontario Pathways.
Patrick will be remembered by his loving wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Wenders; daughters Connie Hunter of Seneca Falls; and Karen (Gary) Jones of Clifton Springs; grandchildren Mae, Michael and Tiffany Hunter; sister, Sylvia Williams .of W. Melbourne, FL; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Patrick was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Wenders.
