Patricia S. Hensley, 86, of New Orleans and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 26, 2013 in LSU Hospital in New Orleans. Patricia was born March 17, 1927 in Hammond Indiana to Maurice and Francis Mann Sullivan. Patricia was a member of the American Legion Post 104 Women’s Auxiliary, as well as the VFW Post 972 Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed shopping whenever she could as well as going to casino’s with friends and family. Most of all Patricia loved her family, especially holding a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Richard Hensley, one son; Jason Royale, and two brothers; Tom and Don Sullivan. She is survived by five daughters; Suzanne Greenwell and Del Barnes of New Orleans, LA, Mary Hoopengarner of Terre Haute, Linda Hoopengarner of Terre Haute, Paula Bland of Texas, and Jeannette Ditto of Terre Haute, two sisters; Maurene Hilgeman, and Ruthita Joy, three grandchildren; Rebecca, Kylie and Michele, and one great grandchild; Jared. Patricia is also survived by many other friends, family, and loved ones.
