Patricia Rae Burns, 67, of Anderson, IN passed away on March 21, 2014 at Edgewater Woods Nursing Home Anderson, IN. She was born on February 22, 1947 in Muskegon, Michigan. Patricia worked in retail management, retiring from Meijer. She devoted her life to serving God and others through her volunteerism at South Meridian Church of God.
She was a greeter at the church and led the church’s landscaping development and planting project. She was a Stephen Minister leader, involved with Vacation Bible School, Fall Harvest Party and Women’s Bible Study. She had a love for gardening and animals.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Burns Romero and Tammi Burns; seven grandchildren, Melissa Pratt Loomis, Joshua Pratt, Emma Pratt, Elisia Romero, Sean Romero, Nicholas Burns and Nicole Burns; three great-grandchildren; and her dear friend, Shirley Utterback. . Preceding Patricia’s death were her mother, Edith Harbitz Artibee; father, Raymond Artibee; and daughter, Kelli Pratt.
