Patricia V. Garvin, 73, of Fortville, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home. She was born October 29, 1938 in Tarentum, PA to the late John D. and Agnes (“Pat”) Virginia (Gray) Garvin.
Patsy graduated from Fortville High School and received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority; Angel Flight; and Green Guard Honaries. She received her Master’s Degree from Butler University. Patsy retired from Warren Township School District (Woodview & Creston) after 35 years of teaching.
She is survived by her sister Garen A. (husband Ralph L.) Waters of Sunset Beach, NC; niece Megan (husband Christopher) Hammer of Frisco, TX; niece Marlo Urban of Sunset Beach, NC; and grandniece Madison and grandnephew Aiden Mullis, both of Sunset Beach, NC.
