Patricia Hentgen-Danner, age 93 went home to be with the Lord Jan. 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Born April 20, 1924 in Peru, IN. Patricia met the love of her life Herbert Danner Jr. while he was stationed at Bunker Hill. After a whirlwind courtship, they married December 25, 1942. Shortly after marrying they moved to Lindbergh. Rd. in Herb’s hometown of Anderson, creating a legacy for her family and friends of a wonderful life well lived.
She was an active member of South Meridian Church of God in Anderson IN where she enjoyed various trips and activities through the church. She was also an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed traveling, camping, playing bunko and making her signature meatloaf and caramels for Christmas dinner to feed an ever-growing family.
Her legacy includes children, Thomas H. Danner, (wife Judy), Michael E. Danner, (wife Cathy), Karen S. Vanatta, Patsy A. Danner, and Robert A. Danner, (wife Teresa) all of Anderson; grandchildren, Traci, Toni, David, Jason, Eric, Amy, Amanda, Todd, Craig, Cory, Andy, Chad, Elizabeth, Megan, and Cody. 20 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great- grandchildren.
Patricia was proceeded in death by beloved husband Herbert Danner Jr.,her parents George Hentgen and Georgianna Sharp-Hentgen and grandson, Cory Highbaugh.
