Patricia Lynne Wolfe Von Spreckelsen, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday evening, June 28, 2013 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born September 6, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ellis L. and Grace Ham Wolfe. She was reared in Speedway, Indiana and, as a child, spent many happy weekends with grandparents and a favorite aunt in Paoli, Indiana.
Pat attended Indianapolis Methodist Hospital School of Nursing from 1958-1960, during which time she served as editor/chief of the school newspaper “The Reflector” . Her early interests in journalism and the arts led her to change her course of study and pursue her dream of a career in the humanities.
