Patricia Louise (Suiter) Lidean, of Potlatch, died Sunday September 25, 2016 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow. She was 84. Pat was born on October 22, 1931 to O.D. and Madeline Suiter in Denison, Iowa. She was the middle child with one older brother, Joe, and a younger brother, Chuck. Pat, as she was known, and her family moved to Potlatch, Idaho after her father retired from the Navy. In 1949, Pat graduated from Potlatch High School and attended the University of Idaho for a couple years. In 1951, Pat and Gordon Lidean met through mutual friends and got married in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on September 22, 1951. The couple had 3 children while living in Moscow, Princeton, Spokane, and finally settling in Potlatch. Pat enjoyed league bowling, and belonged to The Potlatch Leisure League. Pat also loved sitting in her rocker and reading as many crime novels she could during the days that she borrowed from the Potlatch Library on a weekly basis.
