Patricia Jo (Minegar) Blenner, 79, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13. She is survived by her children, Jay, Marty and Leslie; her husband, Armand “Snoop”; her sister, Cara Carman; Jay’s life partner, Chantelle; nieces Julie and Hadley; nephews Marc, Nate and Dan; and her precious dog, D.C.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marion; mother Suzanne; brothers Garth and Gary; sister Jean; her beloved aunt, Marg; and her dogs, Schumpy, Sam, Lady Claire and Sparky. Pat worked for many years in retail and retired from J.C. Penney. She loved listening to the Chicago Cubs, watching Notre Dame Irish football and basketball, including the women’s teams, and reading.
She was a published poet and played piano since childhood. She volunteered for a time with the local animal rescue. Pat’s affection for music, nature (especially the sunshine and being near water), conservation of natural resources and caring for furry, four-legged creatures were all passed along to her adoring children. There will be no public service or flowers, at her request.
