Patricia Jean Goulet

July 25, 1934 – November 5, 2012

Patricia (McDonald) Jean Goulet age 78, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 after a long medical illness. She was a homemaker and devoted wife; she enjoyed camping, playing cards, dances, many memorable picnics with the family and siblings on Sunday’s at Bay City State Park. She had many friends, enjoyed time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She enjoyed shopping and movies with her daughter-in-law Dorothy, who cared for her during her illness up to the time our Lord called her home to heaven above. Born July 25, 1934 to the late Joseph and Ruth (Petosky) McDonald. She married Joseph F. Goulet on October 16, 1955. He predeceased her on May 24, 2004.

Surviving are two sons; Christopher (Dorothy) Goulet and Matthew (Crystal) Goulet, five grandchildren; Linda Goulet, Christine Hanafin, John Goulet, Patricia Goulet, Beverly (Jack II) Coon, 10 great grandchildren; Alexandria Goulet, Emily Martel, Matthew Hanafin, Taylor Goulet, Teresa Goulet, Chase Goulet, Parker Geno, Gage Goulet , Josie Goulet and Giselle Coon, one great- great granddaughter; Ariella Faith Goulet. Also surviving is one brother; Circuit Judge Joseph R. (Phyllis) McDonald, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by 6 sisters; Beryl Thrall, Marjorie (Joseph) Rilko, Rosemary (Robert) Monaghan, Dorothy (Lester) Stevens, Geraldine (Michael) Devos and Nancy O’Neal, two brothers; Arthur (Geraldine) McDonald, State Court of Appeals; Gary R. (Barbara) McDonald. She was a long standing member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Christian Mothers, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
