Patricia Jean Malaise, the daughter of Richard F. and Irene E. (Bruswitz) Boyle, was born September 30, 1935, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School with the “Class of1953”.
On January 28, 1955, Pat was united in marriage to Richard Loux. They later divorced. Pat married Merlyn C. Malaise on September 24, 1988, in Webster City.
Pat worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone as an operator and business office manager, Rotary Senior Living as a cook, Asgrow Seed, Dodger Manufacturing as an inspector and Super Valu.
Pat passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Rotary Senior Living in Eagle Grove at the age of 86 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Merlyn Malaise and Richard Loux; granddaughter, Amy Johnson; daughter, Rozanne Willard Polson; sister, Linda Malaise (Harold) and Margarite Burell.
Survivors include her children, Dora Willard of Eagle Grove, Gil Loux (Diane) of Goldfield and Terry Loux of Eagle Grove; grandchildren: Wendy Willard, Bridget Willard, Brandon Willard (Karla), Michael Willard, Alisha Steil (Loren), Tioni Loux (Ethan), Ashley Loux (Joey), Brittany Sadler (Blake) and Austin Loux (Chelsie), Angie Johnson, Anita Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Andrew Johnson; 39 great-grandchildren; 16 great great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Perry Polson of Spencer.
