Patricia passed away early Saturday morning March 31, 2018 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living at the age of 67 years. Patricia was born in Saginaw on August 5, 1950 to the late William and Pauline (Gaertner) Mills. Patricia spent over two decades as a features writer for the Bay City Times including her weekly Food Fair column. She was active in many community organizations including the Bay City Fireworks Festival, Literacy Council of Bay County, The Bay County Historical Society, Tall Ships Celebration, Labadie Pig Gig, Youth Leadership and Junior Achievement.
Patricia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Justin Heidtman; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Shari LaLonde; grandsons, Collin and Dylan Heidtman and Henry and William LaLonde; aunt, Donna Falk; cousins, Gail (Steven) McDonald and Bill Gaertner.
