DURHAM- Mrs. Patricia Ann James, 82, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Mrs. James was born on December 8, 1937 to Clifton and Thelma Fowler in Durham, NC. She was a lifelong member of Living Waters Christian Community Church where she served as secretary. Patricia had won numerous Secretary of the Year awards at Duke University in the Botany Department and was a local model. She loved her church and family greatly. Patricia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mrs. James was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Thelma Fowler; brothers, Clifton Fowler, Jr., Billie Fowler, Cecil Fowler, and Clayburn Bennie Fowler; and sister, Irene Fowler. She is survived by her husband, William Joseph James, Sr.; son, William James, Jr. (Vicky Lee Martin); sister, Shirley Marie Chamberlain (Lockwood); grandchildren, Kristopher James (Ashley), and Kristen James Massey (Jon); and great-grandchild, Abigail James, Kadence James, and Nataleigh Solomon.
