Patricia Mary Doran-Mulqueen (nee Roche) passed away on Saturday, August 30th, in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 78.
Patricia was born at home in Ballinlough, County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland on 11 March 1937. She was the oldest of five children born to John and Kathleen Roche (nee Fewer).
Patricia emigrated to the United States in 1957 where she married Robert James Finbarr Doran of Piltown, County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland. She worked as a legal secretary in New York City and then stayed at home to raise their three children Robert, John, and Edward. The family lived in the Bronx, New York before moving to Greenwich, Connecticut in 1964.
Patricia and Robert divorced in 1974 and she moved to Los Angeles where she met and married Kevin J. Mulqueen, also from Ireland, and spent several years there until settling in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kevin J. Mulqueen. Also preceding her in death was her brother James Roche of Moonvour, Clonassey, County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland. She is survived by her sisters Beryl Murphy of Emyvale, County Monghan, Ireland, Ann Malloy of Northumberland, England and Terry Stapleton of Fullerton, California as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren in the United States and Ireland. She is also survived by her three sons Robert Doran of New Canaan, Connecticut, John Doran of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Edward Doran of Piltown, County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland.
