Patricia Minervino of Highland Beach passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born on October 15, 1933 in Dorchester, MA to parents Andrew Murphy and Mary Ellen (Douglas) Murphy.

Patty grew up on Forest Ave in Portland Maine. Her modest upbringing planted the seeds of resourcefulness and tenacity that she used later in life, as wife and a mother of six. Her real passion and most important work was taking care of her husband and her 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. There was nothing more important to her than her family. She was a fiercely protective mother who had a way of knowing what her kids needed before they did.

Her favorite birthdays were spent hiking mountains with all of us. She loved boating on their boat named “The Patty D”. She was an avid lover of all sports and played competitive tennis into her 80’s. She was Tom Brady’s biggest fan. She loved sunrises, sun sets and happy hours. Patty actually enjoyed a happy hour with Henry Saturday night before she passed peacefully on Monday morning.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Henry Minervino of Highland Beach, FL and Sebago, Maine. Her six children and their spouses; Maryellen Antonetti, Sam and Jan Minervino, Lisa Minervino, Connie and Ed Pennel, Katie and Tim Karatzas, and Krista and Jeffrey Nasse. Her eleven grandchildren; Nick, George, Lena, Rico, Geno, Karissa, Nico, Sam, Carli, Stephanie, Dominic, Sophie. As well as her five great grandchildren; Rocco, Henry, Hudson, Magnolia and one who is just a sparkle in our eyes right now. She is also survived by her sister Rosemary Negrini. Patty was preceded in death by her parents Andrew Murphy and Mary Ellen Murphy, and her sister Margaret Murphy.
