Diane was affectionately called “Chink” while growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant’s Marcy Houses. Diane was strong and independent and always spoke her mind. She deeply loved her grandchildren and would do anything for them. One of Diane’s favorite songs was “Stairway to Heaven” by the O’jays but she also enjoyed dancing to “Candy” By Cameo. You knew you were loved just by being in Diane’s presence and because of this, she will be deeply missed by many. Diane was a great Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and an amazing cook. She was a friend to many throughout her life and would often help those in need.
