Patricia Bormann, age 81, of Livermore passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Patricia Ann Bormann, the daughter of Stanley and Erma (Adreon) Garman, was born on December 14, 1938 in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from Corwith High School in 1956. Pat was a longtime employee at Charlie’s Supper Club. She especially enjoyed working there when The Memory Brothers came to entertain. She was also employed at Hormel for a time. In March of 1978 Pat married her best friend and the love of her life. Pat adored her husband, Al. They enjoyed dancing, traveling and just enjoying each other’s company and all life had to offer. Pat was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crafts, antiquing, pull tabs, the casino, her friends, meeting for coffee and reading her magazines. Her favorite thing was working at the Livermore Library. Pat loved her family. Just being with her husband and her children were the most special moments. Above all her grandchildren were the loves of her life. Peter and Kyle were her pride and joy. Watching those two boys grow into accomplished men meant more to her than anything. Left to cherish Pat’s memory is her husband of 41 years, Al; children, Gina (Paul) Jorgenson of Algona, Rick (Kim) Waldera of St. Joe and Nick (Jennifer Lenz) Bormann of Algona; grandchildren, Peter (McKenzie Keith) Jorgenson of Algona and Kyle (Lacy Jorgenen) Waldera of St Joe; siblings, Thomas (special friend Wiley) Garman of Ringsted, Larry (Marlene) Garman of Swisher; Philip (Kay) Garman of Dumont, Mary Jane (Kenny) Pruismann of Blairsburg and Kathy Garman of Algona and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Erma Garman and two sisters, Shirley Knoer and Rita White. Pat missed by her family and friends. She loved deeply and was deeply loved. Heaven gained a great woman with a lively personality. We’re quite sure she’s having a wonderful time catching up with her mother and father and her sisters. Everyday it’s sinking in we’ll say goodbye all over again. Save some grace for us. Save a place for us. Until we meet again.
