Patricia Ann Berry Davion departed this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.Paticia was born to Claude Berry, Jr., and the late Betty Cecelia Oliver, on July 8, 1944, in McKinney, Texas. She attended and received formal education through the McKinney School District, graduating with honors from Doty High School in 1962. She eventually attended Texas Southern University, where she majored in Business Management. Patricia became a member of the staff at Texas Instruments and retired after 35 years of service.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Cecelia Oliver Berry; father, Rev. Dr. Claude A. Berry; beloved aunt, Ms. Duck Perry; and brother Rev. Andrew W. Berry.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory; her devoted husband, Dr. Edward Davion, Jr.; second mother, Dr. Jessie Mae Berry; special aunt, Julia Berry Evans of McKinney, Texas; sons, Gerald Keith (Mao Chun) and Brian Edward; daughter, Cherri C. Davion; grandchildren, Mychal R. Cox, David L. Cox, Matthew W. Cox, and Kendal L. Davion, and Courtney E. Cox; great-grandchildren, Mason A. Cox and William Owen Cassoday, due in August; brothers, Rev. Harrell Ray Berry (Deborah) and Rev. Claude Vincent Berry (Linda); sisters, Phyllis Dickerson (Donnell) of Allen, Texas and Sandra J. Davion (Melvin); beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia also leaves to cherish her memory a host of other relatives and friends.In conclusion, Pat was a strong and dedicated Christian lady whose faith and convection endured to the end. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
