Obituary of Patricia Ann Smith
Patricia Ann Smith, born December 16, 1935 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully in her
sleep March 29, 2021 in Saginaw, Michigan. Patricia was formerly a resident of Alexandria, Virginia for 50
years before moving to Saginaw in 2012.
Patricia, born to parents Leland and Regina Webber, is survived by her uncle, Franklin Birt “Uncle Frank” (New
York, NY) and sister Lurline (Vall, AZ); four of her five children, Michael (wife, Pamela) of San Diego, CA, Jeffrey
(wife, Colleen) of Saginaw, MI, Deborah (Reidsville, GA) and Gregory (wife, Cindy) of San Antonio, TX, and
daughter-in-law Kathy Torres-Smith. One child, Christopher (Waco, TX) preceded her in death, six months
earlier due to complications from Covid.
She is also survived by her seven grandchildren Jessica, Ashley, Olivia, Stephen, Joshua, Max, Hailey and one
great-grandchild Declan Jack. Also, survived by six nephews and nieces, John Webber, Shelia Turcios, Christina
Loyed, Richard Nicolary, Spencer Nicolary and Samuel Nicolary.
As a deeply spiritual person, who always put family and the needs of others before her own, she dedicated
both her time and talents to serving those around her. She is known for-always having an open house to
anyone who needed a place to stay or meal to eat and simply referred to as Mom by those who came to know
her. In spite of having numerous health issues, nothing ever seemed to be too much or considered a burden
for her. She simply looked at it as a challenge and faced it head on. Patricia was the embodiment of a selfless
servant and her loss will be felt deeply by those who knew her and who had the privilege of her wisdom, grace
& soul.
In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
