Patricia Ann (O’Leary) Cottle, 80, of Manchester, CT, loving wife and companion for sixty years of Stanley E. Cottle, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Manchester Memorial Hospital from complications caused by Alzheimer’s affliction.
Paddy was born in South Boston on July 27, 1935 to Daniel and Helen (O’Brien) O’Leary. She graduated from St. Brigid’s High School in 1953 and enlisted in the US Marine Corps in May of 1954. She met and shortly after married Stanley at the Quantico Marine Base in Virginia in April 1955, and she and Stanley spent twenty years in the Marine Corps. They retired from the Corps in 1971 and settled in Manchester, CT.
