Patricia Ann Burton, 79, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 in Greenwood, Indiana.
A native of Indianapolis, she was born March 14, 1940 to the late Sweed Carpenter and Irene (Coovert) Carpenter. She married the love of her life, Billy Burton, he preceded her in death on April 14, 2006.
Patricia had a great sense of humor and quick wit. She enjoyed playing tic-tac-toe, Rummy, War, crossword puzzles and bingo. She enjoyed the need for speed, fast cars and riding in a 1967 Camaro she shared with her late husband.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela Y. Freeman (Daniel) of Whiteland, IN; four grandchildren, Shane Freeman (Jennifer), Billy Lee Frisbie, Eli Freeman, and Emilie Freeman; seven great-grandchildren; and her nieces, Stephanie, Brenda, and Jennifer.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Burton; her parents, Irene Coovert Carpenter and Sweed Carpenter; and one brother, Kenneth Carpenter.
