MARSINIPatricia Ann “Pat” Marsini (nee Carney), age 90, formerly of Broomall, PA went peacefully to heaven on January 4, 2022. Pat was born on September 15, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA to Jack and Rebecca Carney. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and grew up in East Lansdowne where she was a member of Saint Cyril Parish and was a 1949 Graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. A devout Catholic, Pat always relied on her faith to help her deal with all situations. She handled whatever situation came her way with dignity and grace. She was a working mother in a time well before working mothers were loved family, especially spending time with her children and grandchildren, and catching up with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed travelling and was fortunate enough to visit Ireland with her children, joined a pilgrimage to Rome, attended the Passion Play in Germany and Dragon Boat Races in Hong Kong, and visited many other beautiful cities across loved to dance, particularly with her husband, Al. An avid reader, Pat also enjoyed attending the theater and summers in Longport, NJ. Pat loved to shop, always enjoying a good bargain, and was a wonderful conversationalist. Her warm loving personality and charm allowed her to make friends and bond with people wherever she went. Her love of sweets and ice cream was is survived by her children Michael McGirney (Terri), Kathleen McGirney, Mark McGirney (Debby), and Joseph Marsini (Janine), her seven grandchildren, Lauren, Rebecca, Matthew, Katie, Andrew, Jack, and Samantha, her brother Paul Carney (Rita), sisters-in-law Anne Carney and Paula Carney, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her three brothers John, Frank and Robert Carney and the love of her life, her husband and dancing partner, Alfred “Al” Marsini.
