Patricia A. Liebig, 82, of Allentown, went home to her Heavenly Father Saturday, August 10th, 2013, after a long battle with cancer and diabetes. Patricia was born in Allentown and was a daughter of the late John O. Liebig, Sr. and Nina (Krause) Liebig. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1948 and later attended Moravian College from 1948 to 1950. In the late 1940s, she was a playground instructor during the summertime. Patricia was employed as a Senior Clerk in the Network Administration Office of Bell Telephone Co. of Pa. for 42 years, retiring in 1992. After retiring, she was a volunteer for the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. Patricia was a member of Bell Telephone Pioneers, also a member and former Board member of the Allentown Garden Club and the Allentown Music Club. She was an active member of The Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Allentown. Survivors: two nieces, Louise Walakovits and her husband, Joseph, Jr. of Allentown, Cynthia Allen of Mobile, Al; a nephew, Richard T. Miller, II of Bethlehem, 1 great niece and 3 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew. She was preceded in death by sisters, Nina Margaret and Helen A. Miller, wife of the late Richard T. Miller, and brothers, Edward E. Liebig and John O. Liebig, Jr. and by a niece, Sally A. Liebig.
