Patricia A. Donchez-Watt, 63, of Bethlehem passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was the wife of William Watt. Patti and Bill first met at GC Murphy’s where she worked at the candy counter, and he was a stock boy. They enjoyed watching old movies together and old black and white TV shows. They recently celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on April 17th. Patti was born on November 2, 1950 in Bethlehem. She was the daughter of Irene (Toth) Donchez of Bethlehem and the late Charles L. Donchez. She was hired as a Unit Secretary at St. Luke’s University Health Network in 1971, where she worked for 43 years. She was nominated numerous times for the Nursing Excellence award, and the PCRAFT award. Patti won the PCRAFT award in 2011, which is the highest award given at St. Luke’s Hospital. She loved animals including her birds, dogs Nicole, Maxie and Shieba, and cat, Sandy. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the shopping trips with her mother, vacationing at Myrtle Beach, SC, and listening to Elvis. She will be fondly remembered for the giving person she was, always putting others before herself. Survivors: In addition to her loving husband and mother, are sister Donna Ford and husband Ron; brothers Frankie Donchez and wife Jayne all of Bethlehem Twp., C.J. Donchez of Bethlehem; niece Melissa Hartney and husband Michael and their children, Tristen, Margaret, and Charlie of Northampton; nephew, Anthony Ayers and wife Jessica and their children, Addison and Natalie of Allentown; niece Brianna Ford of Bethlehem Twp..
