Pastor Warren F Collins

 United States

  • Date Of Death: January 27, 2022
  • State: Massachusetts

Following his high school graduation, Warren attended Bentley College in Waltham, MA, but to fulfill the call of God on his life, left there to attend Free Gospel Bible Institute in Export, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1975.

He was passionate about ministering to the indigent and held a position on the Board of the community-based organization CASPAR (Cambridge And Somerville Programs for Addiction Recovery). Warren had a heart for ministry towards building Godly men who would become Godly leaders and strong fathers/father figures.

On May 29, 1972, Warren married his high school sweetheart, the late Lynne Renee (Ellcock) Collins, who he loved until the day of his death. Their union was blessed with seven children: Caleb F. (Shauna), Alysha L., Joshua W., Jeremy R. (Valesay), Deitra K. (Eugene L.D.) Schneeberg, David P. (Bethany), and Emmanuel W. Collins.

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, Warren Fitzgerald Collins answered the Heavenly call to “come up higher” and willingly took the hand of his Saviour who he served so faithfully and loved so much. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; and his sister, Lynette. He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy: seven children and their spouses who adored their father; 16 grandchildren; five devoted sisters: Uldine Collins, Marva Collins, Sylvia (K. Allan) Haywood, Joyce Julien, and Ruth Collins; and a multitude of other relatives, loved ones, and friends.

Warren will always be remembered and very much missed!
