His Story
Arvery Joseph Bush Sr., son of the late Oliver L. Bush and Ida R. Wickware-Bush was born Friday January 13, 1960 and was given the nickname Lucky. He was the youngest of 8 children.
Arvery attended IPS school #75 and went on to graduate from George Washington Highschool in 1978, where he ran track and sang in the choir. He attended Ball State University, where he pledged Phi Beta Sigma.
Arvery served in the United states Army as an Airborne paratrooper. While serving in the Army he received numerous awards and medals. He served for eight years and was honorably discharged. Arvery was employed by the United States Post office for 20 years as a forklift operator and tug driver.
Arvery was an avid bowler. He loved sports and was a New England Patriot Fanatic. He loved singing, acting, and was fashionable.
On March 26, 2012, Arvery was united in Holy Matrimony to TaWanda K. Bush and they shared eight years together.
