Pasquale “Pat” N. Bruno, age 85, of West Haven, formerly of Bridgeport, and beloved husband to the late Ruth Gardner Bruno, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on April 4, 1926 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Assunta Bruno. Pat was a manager for Singer Sewing Machines in Bridgeport for over 25 years and prior to retiring, he was employed with Roland T. Warner Hardware in Fairhaven. Pat was very passionate about sports and was a devoted and enthusiastic NY Giants, NY Yankees fan, as well as the UCONN men and women’s basketball.
He is survived by his two cherished daughters, Jean Holland and her husband Daniel of Killingworth and Donna Bruno of West Haven; two grandchildren, Alexander and Jessica; two sisters, Rose Benigno of Stratford, Connie Grosso of Trumbull and many nieces and nephews.
