Paris “Babe†Linwood Wimbish, 70, of 193 Glen Oak Circle, Ridgeway, VA died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County, Martinsville, VA. He was born on October 31, 1941 in Patrick County, VA to the late James Paris Wimbish and Geneva Wimbish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mr. Wimbish was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Axton, VA and had worked for E. I. Dupont, Inc. in the Maintenance Dept. and retired after 36 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary Frances VernonWimbish of the home; daughters, Kimberly Wimbish Tatum of Ridgeway, VA and Chasity Wimbish Davis of Martinsville, VA and grandchildren, Joshua Diaz, Jeremy Diaz, Leah Maulding and Ross Tatum.
