Pamela Sue Reschke, 69, Pocatello, died early Tuesday morning, July 28th, 2020 at home.
She was born August 4th, 1950 in Highland Park, Illinois to Robert and Betty Reschke. Pam was a botanist and Junior High science teacher. She was currently volunteering at the ISU Herbarium working countless hours collecting and cataloging plants.
Pam loved to plan and have travel adventures. Her true home was on the Keweenaw Peninsula of upper Michigan where she spent every summer. She loved to kayak, swim, and bathe in Lake Superior… the colder the better! The outdoor kitchen was always bustling with Pam’s energy planning and cooking extravagant meals. Mostly Pam loved the comradery of her friends and sharing all of this with them. She made everyone feel welcome.
Pam is survived by: her partner, Chris Thompson; her sister, Carol Reschke; best friend, Melissa; and her four leggeds, Austin and Sally; and many dear friends who feel Pam was a gift to them as she made us feel we were a gift to her.
