Pamela Jane (Sears) Hoefner, 67, of Anderson, passed away on January 1, 2022, at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on August 4, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana.
Pamela graduated from Highland High School in 1972 where she was a member of the Marching Highlanders. She also graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She had been a preschool teacher at Anderson Nursery School and Head Start and retired from General Motors after 27 years of service. She loved to stay in her camper in North Vernon, go to garage sales, and antiques, and had a booth at the flea market in Chesterfield. She also was a longtime member of the Eagles. She loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren who called her Mams.
Pamela is survived by her daughter, Mandy (Mike Bell) Hoefner; siblings, Susie DeLong, Nancy (Greg) Joslin, Jim Sears; grandchildren, Jacob Porter, Blake Chappell, and Mikayla Bell; best friend and caregiver, Sandy Adams; special friend, Judy Myers, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Porter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Mary Sears, and brother, Bill Sears.
