Pamela Hall Olson, 58, of Colchester, passed away on March 26, 2017 at Hartford Hospital due to a sudden illness. Born in Middletown on July 5, 1958, she was a daughter of the late William and Norma (Hall) Olson. Pam had been an accomplished equestrian and talented rider until she was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis as a young woman. Several years ago, she was unable to continue working but faced her physical hardship with courage and a positive outlook. She will be sadly missed but always loved and remembered by her companion of many years, Robert Karpe with whom she made her home; sister, Doris Hanford and her companion, Jeff Johnston of West Yarmouth, MA.; her niece Heather Hanford of Hamburg, Germany; nephew Jason Hanford of Coral Gables, Fl.; and several extended family and many friends.
