He is survived by Ray and Helen Boys of Galesburg, Roy and Rosalie Matthews of Altona; his children, Alicia, Louise, Brenton James, and Chelsea Lynn; one brother, one sister, 1 step-brother, and five step-sisters. Owen worked as an iron worker as well as in Home Improvement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Aurora, IL.
