Mr. Owell Gene Harmon, 75, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence.
Gene was born on December 1, 1946 in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Grover Harmon and Mae Craven Harmon.
He loved the University of Alabama football…Roll Tide! He also enjoyed almost any type sport including playing cornhole, horseshoes, and being on the golf course. During his tenure working at Fairfax Mill, he played on the company softball team and competed in the Mill tournaments. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and taking trips to different casinos.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Harmon, children, Linda Eagle, Pam Harmon, Mark (Mary) Harmon, Amy (Tommy) Whaley, Tonya Jarnagin, Richard Shaddix; siblings, Lowell Harmon, Donald Harmon, Roy S. Harmon; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
