Otheda L. Perkins, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away June 21, 2014. She was born April 26, 1930, in Sumner County, Tennessee, to the late Forrest F. and Ovie Simpson Langford.
Otheda was married to George Perkins, who passed away June 10, 1969. She was employed for 30 years as a supervisor at Teledyne National retiring in 1992. Prior she worked in the accounting department at Progress Laundry.
Otheda’s survivors include a daughter Judy Smith, Indianapolis; step daughter Linda Perkins, Roy, Utah; brother Forrest F. (Shirley) Langford, Greenwood; sister Marie Williams, Hendersville, TN; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Otheda is also preceded in passing by a step daughter Nita Pruett, brother Rudolph Langford and sisters Juanita Langford and Gerry Mosley.
