Oswald “Ozzie” T. Smith, Jr., 69, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021, at home. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Jackson, NJ before moving to Toms River for 48 years.
Ozzie was the Supervisor of Production at Air Cruisers Co. in Wall Twp., NJ. He also owned Manhattan Bagel in Brielle, NJ then worked at Wawa in Brick Twp.
He was a parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River.
Ozzie was predeceased by his parents, Oswald T. Smith, Sr. and Stella Bijowski, and his brother Charles Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Theresa (nee Giliberti), his two children Thomas Smith and his wife Tia of Toms River and Tracy Jacobsen of Toms River, two grandchildren Cierra and Isabella, a brother Roy Gaige of North Carolina, a sister Hattie Savvides and her husband John of North Carolina and an aunt Carleen Alicea and her husband Juan of Toms River.
